What does this coaching look like?

Here’s how things typically flow:

  1. After your purchase, there is a quick form where you can fill me in on any specifics about what you’d like to work on. (Not sure what to work on? I’ve got you covered.)

  2. I’ll send you an email saying hi, and clarifying anything I need to know to best help you.

  3. You send me an mp3 of 2-3 mins of narration. Material can be from something you’re currently recording or reading, or I can send you a passage from my library.

  4. You’ll then receive a brief video with feedback and/or adjustments from me, often within 24 hours though sometimes a bit longer. (Excepting weekends/holidays.)

  5. You send me a new mp3 putting my notes to work—either with the same passage or something new.

  6. We’ll go back and forth like this three times.

Just a quick note:

I’m comfortable reviewing just about any material that you’d like to narrate. If however, you’re interested in working with material that has potentially graphic or explicit content, I would ask that you notify me preemptively of the nature of it so that I know to expect it. Thank you!

FAQ

  • Nope! You’re free to take as much time as you’d like.

  • If you find this method of coaching isn’t clicking with your learning style, that’s totally fine! Just let me know and I’ll do my best to come up with a solution that best serves you.

    Some options are:

-Putting the prorated funds from your Email Coaching towards a live coaching session.

-A prorated refund based on the amount of feedback already received.

  • Whatever excites or challenges you the most! If you like Sci-Fi and want to work in that genre, let’s do it. If you struggle with dialogue and characterizations, that might be helpful to work on. It’s really up to you, and I’m always happy to offer suggestions if you’re not sure.
