About

Growing up in the Pacific Northwest, it’s hard not to walk away without a deep love for nature, open spaces, and all things green. That’s also where I began my career as a performer, with a speaking role as French Fry #1, in our kindergarten production of “The McKay Cafe.” (My line was, “Phew!”) Needless to say my career has grown a bit since, and from the fall of 2015, I’ve lived and worked in NYC as a professional voiceover artist, audiobook narrator, actor, and coach.

Home is presently in Brooklyn with my wife and partner of over 14 years, and our cat Liz (and yes, that picture captures her personality well). In my free time, I enjoy running in Prospect Park, reading most anything (classics and sci-fi leading at the moment), playing games with friends, drawing and writing, and watching something new with a bowl of popcorn.

Performing professionally for over half of my life, I’ve voiced award-winning documentaries, voiced national TV and radio ad campaigns, starred in major animated films and TV shows, narrated 100+ audiobooks, produced countless e-learning and corporate projects, and performed on the stage and screen around the world.

I’ve also been named Best Peformer of the Year, earned Six Best Performance nominations, and (perhaps my proudest achievement) one of my audiobook narrations was deemed a Notable Children’s Recording by the American Library Association.
