About Me
The Short Version
I'm an award-winning actor, voiceover artist, and audiobook narrator.
Beyond that, I like running, nature (trees, rain, and mountains especially), making things (art and cookies mostly), and I’m doing my best to leave the world better than I found it.
The Long(er) Version
I've always been a performer, even before my official stage debut as French Fry #1 in kindergarten.
Some of my proudest highlights:
I've narrated 100+ audiobooks in less than 3 years, acted in twenty of Shakespeare’s thirty-eight plays, acquired an MFA from NYU’s Tisch and two BAs from U. of Washington, voiced national ad campaigns, starred in an animated feature, been featured on a billboard in Times Square, and the American Library Association named one of my narrations a "Notable Children's Recording," (an honor I share with Meryl Streep and Ethan Hawke—pretty cool). And many other things besides.
For ten years, 2015 to 2025, I lived and worked in New York City as a professional voiceover artist, audiobook narrator, actor, and coach.
Then at the end of 2025, the mountains and rainforests of the Pacific Northwest called me back, and home is presently in Portland, Oregon with my wife and partner of over 15 years, and our cat Liz (and yes, the picture above captures her personality well).
In my free time, I enjoy running, rock climbing, reading most anything (classics and sci-fi leading at the moment), playing games with friends, drawing and writing, and watching something new with a bowl of popcorn.
