Working With Me

Step 1

Get in touch using my contact form or email me directly at jay@jaymyersvoiceover.com. Tell me about your project, if you have a budget or deadline in mind, as well as a sample script so I can promptly send you a demo read.

Step 2

I’ll send you a sample recording along with a quote. If you’d like an estimate for most industry standard rates, please review this guide sheet.

Step 3

If the sample read and quote are acceptable to you, let me know by sending an email confirmation along with the final script attached. Please make sure the script is accurate to prevent any additional fees later. If you’d like to hear adjustments in my performance from the sample audio to the final, feel free to clearly note those in your confirmation email as well.

Step 4

I’ll record everything in full and send the final audio to you in whatever format you prefer along with an invoice providing several payment options. If you’d like you’re always welcome to sit in on the recording session, or I can simply deliver the files to you directly.

Step 5

If everything sounds great and you’re completely satisfied, feel free to pay the invoice to complete the project. If you’d like to hear any adjustments in my read or pronunciation, just email me with specific re-recording instructions and I’ll resend the updated audio. You’ll only pay for the audio when you’re satisfied with it.

What’s your turnaround time?

This depends on the type and duration of the project, but typically I aim to return your audio within 24 hours of receiving your confirmation email and the final script.

Do you offer live-directed sessions?

You bet! I’m available via SouceConnect, Zoom, Phone, and most major platforms so you can provide real-time feedback and direction if you wish. To schedule a session, just let me know in your inquiry that you’re interested and I can provide rates as well as coordinate a mutually convenient time.

What are your payment terms?

Payment is expected within 30 days from the delivery of the final audio and invoice.
